The playoff picture looks a lot different this year.
Not only is there a new playoff format, but there are also a slew of players that will be available in the postseason.

The New York Rangers and Dallas Stars have been on the road, playing each other in their first playoff series.
The Stars were eliminated in the first round in a 3-2 series against the Rangers.
It was the first time the Stars had lost a game in their home arena and the Rangers have not won a game there since March 22, 2012.
That’s when the Rangers lost 4-2 to the St. Louis Blues.
In the playoffs, both teams will have to play a full schedule.
The New York Islanders have to face the Ottawa Senators in the second round, while the New York Jets will face the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round.
The Dallas Stars will have two road games in the playoffs.
The Chicago Blackhawks are in the Eastern Conference final and play the Chicago Blackhawks in the Western Conference final.
The St. Paul Saints will play the Philadelphia Flyers in the final.
The first round will be a rematch between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Panthers.
The Lightning won that series 3-1.
They’ll take on the Panthers in the fourth round.
The St. Pierre Saints will take on their first-round opponent in the New Jersey Devils.
The Devils defeated the St Louis Blues 3-0 in Game 6 of the first- round.
There’s a chance that the Devils could be eliminated from the postseason if they lose to the Carolina Hurricanes in the semifinals.
The Tampa Bay Panthers and New York Penguins have a great chance to make the second-round.
The Penguins and Penguins are both coming off losses.
They’re both coming into the series in good shape.
They have a good chance to win this series.
They’ve played the Islanders and Islanders haven’t lost in regulation in nearly 20 years.
They also have a rematch against the Islanders in the next round.
